Shirley MacGregor

Shirley began sewing at age 5–as soon as tiny fingers were nimble enough to hold a needle—much to the pleasure of her only customers, Barbie and Skipper.  Sewing and other forms of needlework were always near to hand as Shirley grew up, raised a family and focused on her career.

A move to the countryside 20 years ago changed everything, however!  A barn and pasture brought sheep and llamas, and learning to handspin and weave their fleecy gifts naturally followed.  With stitchery never far from hand, quilting also found its place in her life.

MacGregors’ Croft is a place filled with the many happy tasks of country life and the creation of lovingly made yarns, textiles, clothing, quilts and gifts for the home.
