Zanshi Wave

Sarah Cameron

Zanshi, translates to residue or leftover. In weaving it is a technique that uses small pieces of waste yarn up. The small pieces are hand tied tighter, then used as weft. The colors are random as I use what ever waste yarn I have at the time. The ultimate form of recycling.

18cm wide – 204cm long – 8cm fringe.

100% Tencel. Handwoven.
